ExxonMobil, the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas company and a leader in liquefied natural gas technology, established ExxonMobil Research Qatar (EMRQ) as an anchor tenant at the Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP). EMRQ is conducting research in areas of common interest to the State of Qatar and ExxonMobil, including environmental management, water reuse, LNG safety and coastal carbonates. This research will be increasingly important as Qatar continues to develop the world's largest integrated gas processing and liquefaction facilities.
